About Jeremy

Jeremy is a dedicated worker and strive for results in his practice. He mainly provides therapy for athletes, the acutely injured, long standing chronic pain, and WCB/ICBC patients.

His treatment approach is based on manual therapy, exercise and inclusive involvement in patient's recovery. He has worked alongside Physiotherapists, Athletic therapists, Kinesiologists and Chiropractors for the entirety of his time as an RMT.

Jeremy believes in assessment before, during and after treatment, as well as that the therapist’s reason for treating an area of the body should be supported by research, lab results, x-rays, MRI's and testing done during the appointment when possible.

Whether its increases to range of motion, decreased pain, or changes to nervous/vascular system, he believes that there should be some changes felt after even the first massage.

If you would like to ask Jeremy any questions, you can also email him at jeremyjakobsze@gmail.com

Jeremy Graduated from WCCMT'S 3000 hour registered massage therapy program in 2010.

Jeremy has been taking advantage of many opportunities to gain skills and knowledge in Massage. He has worked at VGH in the Burns/Plastic/Trauma unit, UBC provincial swim meets, first aid at the RINGETTE National championships in Burnaby, post season treatment of NHL/CFL players, treatment for Coquitlam Express Hockey 2013/14 season, BCABBA body builders and figure competitors, etc. Jeremy is a firm believer in giving back to the community.

Aside from his many years in Air Cadets and doing many community based events, he gives back to the athletes as well. He worked on the sidelines and in the clinic for 3 seasons with the New Westminster's Hyacks Highschool Football Team (largely volunteered time). Jeremy has also provided free massage at many of Vancouver's adventure races, golf tournaments, and marathons.

Jeremy's passion in life is rugby. He is not currently playing rugby but has been playing for over 10 years.

In local rugby, Jeremy was one of the Coaches of Maple Ridge Bruins Rugby Club 2012-2013. The Women’s Team had an Undefeated 2013 season, Highest points scored over all, and a 2nd place finish for the Provincial Div2 Championship. It was an amazing experience.

In 2014 and 2015 for the Pacific Nations Cup, he was asked to hire a team of Massage Therapists for pre+post game treatment of the Canadian mens rugby team and team Japan.

In Jan of 2015 he assembled a team of RMT'S to help out the Canadian 7's team before they headed out to New Zealand for their next stop on the HSBC sevens world series. Jeremy also traveled to England with Team Canada for the 2015 Rugby World Cup as a team Massage Therapist.
